A charming group of five, small, early 19th century framed hand-coloured architectural prints depicting various scenes of London by the topographical artist, Thomas Hosmer Shepherd (1792-1864). The five views are as follows: Buildings Pall Mall East and The Guildhall, Westminster (engraved by M. Barrenger); Auction Mart, St. Bart`s Lane (engraved by W. Watkins); Italian Opera House, Haymarket and The New Treasury, Whitehall (engraved by M. Fox). The latter image (the original now in the GLC Collection) is respectfully dedicated to Sir John Soane. The prints are in two different designs of frame (3 + 2) but make an attractive grouping for a study or library and remain in good condition. Circa 1830.
